New Delhi: Dee Development Engineers has commissioned the second phase of its manufacturing facility in Anjar, Gujarat, increasing its operational capacity by 9,000 metric tons (MT) annually, bringing the total capacity to 12,000 MT per annum. The ₹250-crore investment aims to meet growing demand in the oil and gas piping sector and drive a three-fold revenue increase over the next three to five years.
Of the total investment, ₹160 crore is allocated to the process piping solutions plant, with a final annual capacity of 27,000 MT targeted by October 2025. Currently, 12,000 MT capacity has been commissioned, with the remaining 15,000 MT expected to be operational by October 2025. An additional ₹90 crore is being invested in a seamless pipe manufacturing unit specializing in high wall thickness pipes, with an annual production capacity of 7,000 MT. This facility is slated to be operational by January 2026.
Chairman and Managing Director Krishan Lalit Bansal said, “This facility is integral to our long-term strategy to cater to the rising demand for high-quality process piping solutions and thick seamless pipes. Over the next three to five years, we are targeting a three-fold increase in revenue, with this plant driving operational efficiency and enhancing EBITDA margins.”
Of the ₹250 crore investment, ₹150 crore has already been spent, partly funded by ₹40 crore in bank borrowings. The remaining ₹110 crore will be financed entirely through debt.
The 47-acre facility will create approximately 600 jobs, including 100 direct employment opportunities. The plant also incorporates advanced automation technologies and lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational precision and production efficiency. Full production capacity for process piping solutions is expected by October 2025, while seamless pipe production will commence in January 2026.
