New Delhi: Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany-based H2Global Stiftung to establish a framework for collaboration on green hydrogen initiatives.
The partnership is aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange on market mechanisms and fostering cooperation between India and hydrogen-importing countries.
The MoU was signed on November 19 by SECI Director (Solar) Sanjay Sharma and H2Global Executive Director Dr. Susana Moreira. The event was attended by senior officials, including HintCo CEO Timo Bollerhey, H2Global Stiftung Executive Director Markus Exenberger, MNRE Secretary Prashant Kumar Singh, National Green Hydrogen Mission Director Abhay Bhakare, and ACS Kerala K R Jyothi Lal.
The agreement focuses on designing joint tenders that align with India’s ambition to become a global export hub for green hydrogen and its derivatives. The collaboration is expected to provide insights into global hydrogen market dynamics, trade logistics, and stakeholder engagement, aiding India’s green hydrogen initiatives.
