Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the first full Budget of Modi 3.0. The Union Cabinet has approved Budget 2025 ahead of its presentation. Copies of Union Budget 2025 have been brought to Parliament as Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman prepares to table her eighth Union Budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

Ahead of the Budget presentation, Sitharaman, along with MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, met President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Following this, she has arrived at Parliament and will soon present the Union Budget in the House.

Ahead of the Budget, the Economic Survey 2025 projects GDP growth at 6.3-6.8% for FY26. It emphasizes the need for reforms in land, labor, and deregulation to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
