RECPDCL hands over Rajasthan Power Transmission SPV to Power Grid Corporation, ET EnergyWorld


New Delhi: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of REC Limited, handed over the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Rajasthan-IV H-1 Power Transmission Limited to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) in Gurugram.

PGCIL emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through a Tariff-based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL.

The project involves the development of a transmission system with a 765/400 kV, 400/220 kV, and 220/132 kV sub-station, equipped with bus reactors of 330 MVAR and 125 MVAR. The project, expected to be completed in 24 months, was handed over by T.S.C. Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL to Satyaprakash Dash, Company Secretary, PGCIL.

The project aims to strengthen the power infrastructure in the region and is being developed on a BOOT (Build, Own, Operate & Transfer) basis.
