New Delhi: In a significant development for India’s green hydrogen economy, GH2 Solar Pvt Ltd has won a competitive tender from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), securing a 105 MW electrolyser manufacturing capacity. This achievement is backed by a ₹157.5 crore subsidy under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
The project, which is expected to be completed by 2030, will play a key role in India’s goal of producing 5 million metric tons of green hydrogen annually and achieving 280 GW of installed solar capacity. GH2 Solar’s use of advanced electrolyser technology is anticipated to contribute significantly to reducing the country’s dependence on fossil fuels and addressing climate change.
“Securing this prestigious tender from SECI is a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation, sustainability, and India’s energy security,” said Anurag Jain, Director, GH2 Solar Pvt Ltd.
The project is also expected to create employment opportunities, stimulate local economic growth, and support the development of a skilled workforce in the renewable energy sector.
