‘Batman: Caped Crusader’: Release Date and How to Watch the New Series

Batman is hitting our screens once again, this time in animated form on Prime Video

Gotham City’s most famous hero is cleaning up the streets in Batman: Caped Crusader, a new TV show from Warner Bros. Animation and producers Matt Reeves (director of The Batman film), JJ Abrams and Bruce Timms. Batman’s pursuits as a vigilante and the alter-ego of Bruce Wayne may turn dangerously deadly in this series that also features characters such as Clayface, Catwoman and Harley Quinn. There will also be an appearance from The Penguin, whose alternate identity is Oswalda Cobblepot, voiced by Minnie Driver.

Other voice cast members include Hamish Linklater as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel, Jason Watkins as Alfred, Christina Ricci as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Jim Gordon and Diedrich Bader as Harvey Dent.

Similar to Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, this animated show is rated Y-7, so it’s something the whole family can watch together. That doesn’t mean the story will skimp on the action, tension or thrills — with Gotham City PD, Selina Kyle and Harley Quinn showing up, you never know what to expect.

Fans will be able to watch all 10 episodes exclusively on streaming, so keep reading to learn when and where to watch Batman: Caped Crusader.
