Indosolar unveils 1.3 GW solar module facility in Noida, aims to boost local jobs, ET EnergyWorld


New Delhi: Indosolar Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, marked a significant advancement in India’s solar manufacturing sector with the inauguration of a new solar module factory in Noida, boasting a production capacity of 1.30 GW. This development is set to catalyze job creation and support India’s journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.

Located in Noida, the facility represents a strategic move by Waaree to lead in solar technology innovation while promoting sustainable manufacturing practices. The facility is designed to utilize energy-efficient processes, thereby aligning with national objectives for an eco-friendly industrial growth.

Hitesh Doshi, Chairman and Managing Director at Indosolar, shared his vision at the inauguration, stating, “This new factory epitomizes our commitment to advancing solar technology and promoting sustainability.
