Geelong star Jeremy Cameron spoke to Channel Seven post game.
You must be really pleased with the effort to finish strong.
Definitely. They are a quality side and we know they can play fantastic football. Just the way we stuck at it all night for all four quarters. They got a bit of momentum there and then we wrestled it back and got it on our terms. Really promising signs in the last three weeks and looking forward to the back half of the year.

There was a bit of a lull through the middle of the year, I think it’s safe to say. But now three on the trot, do you think the group is starting to build at the right time of year?
Yes, it’s all about the build at the right time of year. Winning early is important, and we had a few quiet weeks but it’s good to find it at this time of year leading into finals. Still plenty of football but we are heading in the right direction.
What about the blend in the forward line, nine different goalkickers and Shannon Neale popped up early with a couple of really good goals. Seems like a really fun place to be?
Definitely. We have a lot of guys who can roll through there, even more than we showed tonight. Everyone plays their role and knows their role within the site. It’s great to see Shannon flying at the ball and marking and Chuckie Rohan doing his thing, and the smalls get to work and make life easy for us big talls.
Friday Night Footy means a weekend on the farm. Plenty to do?
Plenty to do. I’m looking forward to a weekend at home. I won’t get back until late tonight but it will be great to rest up for a couple of days.
